A MODERN MAJOR GENERAL COLIN POWELL

On May 9th , 2007, I had the honor and privilege of driving General Colin Powell. He was the speaker at the Manhattan Jewish Experience Synagogue, and they called ABC NYC LIMO
I never met a more famous regular guy in my life. In addition to talking to me like a mensch, General Powell somehow got me into the synagogue, while someone watched my TOWN CAR to hear his speech which seemed to be completely off the top of his head. It was about his experience with the current Iraq war, and his experiences throughout his life in the military.He was such a regular guy, I didn’t even feel his security detail. On the trip back to the airport, we had to stop at his daughters house to pick up his wife. Do you want to know how General Colin Powell calls his wife? “AAALMAAA”!!!!!!! WE’RE OUTSIDE! One of the fun things about being in a town car or limo in a detail of cars is that you get to run red lights and go 100 M.P.H. down the highway. Well, in addition to sitting in the front seat next to me in my TOWN CAR , General Powell was actually telling me , “left here, you can cut down that street” etc…..I will never forget this experience and I hope the general will never forget me or my town car limo NYC. Truly one of the highlights of my career since I opened the doors of ABC NYC LIMO.
